As we step into 2025, we’re delighted to share some of the wonderful developments and activities happening at Swimbridge Nursing Home.
One of our most exciting projects is the upcoming 9-bed extension, which is set to open soon. This fantastic addition will allow us to welcome more residents into our home and further enhance our community.
Our team continues to go above and beyond, and we’re proud to recognise Holly, our recent Employee of the Month. Holly is a senior carer who has been with us for many years, providing exceptional care and bringing joy to our residents every day.
We’d also like to celebrate Pat, our activities coordinator, who has recently taken on responsibility for manual handling and completed courses in exercise activities. Her dedication ensures that residents have a varied and engaging routine. Additionally, Gary, our handyman, has been working tirelessly to improve our facilities. His recent project, decorating our beautiful new green lounge for families, has already received wonderful feedback.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to restart our swimming trips in February, aiming for regular monthly outings. We’re also eagerly awaiting the completion of our new garden when the extension opens. The garden’s paths will lead to different areas, creating a calming space for residents to enjoy.
Finally, we’re already planning our summer fete, which we hope to host in July or August. It’s sure to be a fantastic day for residents, families, and friends to come together.
