Swimbridge is a warm and friendly care home, where the staff aim to provide a "real home" for all of residents, personal comfort, safety and high standard of care. The staff are always smiling and helpful. About half of the staff have been working together for more than four years now. We support and motivates each other and also we learn from the experiences from others, forming a strong team.

Ashleigh Boden

Senior Health Care Assistant

I’ve worked at Swimbridge House for four years and I thank Swimbridge for enabling myself to grow in confidence and for providing me with the opportunity to further my education. I completed my health and social care NVQ Level 3 whilst working here and the management have been great with supporting me not only through education but also personally. We are a close network at Swimbridge, like a family, including the residents as well as my colleagues.

Nichola Hussell

Personal Assistant

I’ve worked at Swimbridge House for just over three years now and it’s a friendly, happy place to be - for residents, their families and staff. Everyone pulls together as a team to make sure that the residents and their families get the help and support they need and deserve. Everyone has their role to play to make the home the place it is – warm, welcoming and caring.

Heidi Bowen

Senior Health Care Assistant

I have worked here at Swimbridge house for 4 years. A lot of our lovely residents and staff have been here since I started and the bond between us all is very strong. We strive to provide a 'home from home' environment and we as a team treat each resident as the wonderful individuals that they are. Not an hour goes past when you can't hear laughter and singing throughout the home. The management and owners are all involved in the day to day running of the home and know each resident and staff member personally.

Remus Hosu

Kitchen assistant

I started working in Swimbridge House Nursing Home 3 years ago in the kitchen department as a kitchen assistant, where I met a team that offered me the necessary support. Accumulating work experience and management trust, I was offered the opportunity to train as a cook, and this is a course I am currently pursuing. I am proud of the company's trust in me to deliver my work.
